The CSIRO ICT Centre is building a role for Australia as a global ICT innovator by delivering leading-edge Information and Communication Technology solutions for industry and society. The Centre has over 250 researchers across Australia working on a wide range of ICT technologies and application areas.

The Wireless Technologies Laboratory within the Centre wishes to appoint a Scientist to undertake research into reconfigurable antennas for cognitive wireless communications systems.

Under the direction of the project leader, the successful candidate will undertake research into the design, simulation and testing of integrated and reconfigurable antennas at both mm-wave and lower frequencies.

The right person will have experience in integrated antennas, antennas at millimetre-wave frequencies, frequency selective surfaces, EM simulation packages such as Microwave Studio and HFSS, as well as antenna measurements.
