Europe: WOP-P Scholarships for Third-Country Scholars
Written by Suleman Shahid
Friday, 06 January 2006
The Master on Work, Organizational, and Personnel Psychology (WOP-P) Scholarships for Scholars
The European Commission will deliver 3 scholarships for the
2006-2007 academic year. The grant amount for scholars is a fixed
amount (1,000 euros a year) and a monthly amount (4,000 euros per month
with a tota of 3 months per year). Scholarships for scholars are always
calculated on a yearly basis, regardless of the length of the Master
Course.
Without prejudice to the respect of
high academic standards, in order to ensure a geographical balance
across third-country scholars, the consortium has to respect the
following basic criterion when selecting third-country scholars:
each
selected third-country scholar should come from a different country
(but they can come from the same countries as students).
In the subsequent years, the consortium will reserve 3 to 4 places for third-country scholars every year.
The
Coordinating Committee of the WOP-P Consortium will propose the best
applicants from third countries to European Commission scholarships.
