Postgraduate
Taught Masters Scholarships, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering
2006 Entry
The University of Nottingham is delighted to offer 10 x £2,000 tuition
fee scholarships
for students starting full-time study on one of the MSc Programmes
below in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the
University in September 2006.
MSc in Electronic Communications and Computer Engineering
MSc in Electrical Engineering
MSc in Power Electronics and Drives
Applicants must be classified as ‘overseas’ students for fees purposes and be applying to study full time.
All international students must provide evidence of competence in English,
e.g. a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.0 in any element)
or equivalent TOEFL.
Applications for the scholarships should be submitted to the International Office by
5 April 2006.
The scholarship winners will be notified in May 2006.
The University of Nottingham has an international reputation for
excellence in teaching and research and for the environment in which
students live and study.
These scholarships cover £2,000 of the ‘overseas’ tuition fee (see
schedule of full tuition fee for students classified as ‘overseas’ for
fees purposes). In addition to the tuition fees for international
students, we estimate that in 2006-2007 an international student
unaccompanied by relatives will need approximately £700 per month for
accommodation, maintenance, recreation and other expenses in the UK.
There may be occasions on which the Scholarship Panel decides to award partial scholarships instead of the advertised amount.
Students are invited to apply online for these scholarships after 11 November 2005 via the International Office website:
http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/international
IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT ONLY STUDENTS WHO HAVE BEEN OFFERED A PLACE AT
THE UNIVERSITY OF NOTTINGHAM ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR A SCHOLARSHIP
