Internship for programmer at BRGM, France (Orléans, France) PDF Print E-mail

The French Geological Survey (Bureau de Recherches Géologiques et Minières, BRGM) is seeking a programmer for a 4-6 month project on an internship basis.
The task is to extract routing algorithms from a runoff/erosion model and couple them to ArcGIS 9.
Applicants should be either a) students in informatics or related subjects or b) students of other scientific disciplines (mathematics, physics, environmental science, etc.) with strong and proven programming skills.
The smaller part of the work is to be done at the University of Leuven, Belgium, and the larger part at BRGM in Orléans, France.
Starting date is as soon as possible. Payment is negotiable.
