Doctoral student position in animal navigation and magnetic sensing
We are currently offering three doctoral student positions:
P1. Night vision processing in the retina of migratory birds (Main technique: electrophysiology)
P2. Cryptochromes and their potential role as primary magnetic compass detectors (molecular biology combined with behavioural biology)
P3. The mechanisms of long-distance navigation (behavioural experiments combined with molecular biology and/or neurobiology/neuroanatomy)
We will start looking at the applications as soon as they arrive, and will keep looking until the positions are filled. Since we have several additional grant applications running, more positions are likely to become available soon, so highly qualified applications are always welcome.
For details, please see http://www.uni-oldenburg.de/neurobiologie/fzns/23202.html or contact
