Two challenging Research Assistant (RA) positions are available within the Information Technology Department of the Malaysia University of Science and Technology (http://www.must.edu.my ).

The duration of this project is 12-18 months. We are looking for the following skills and qualifications:

• Position one: at least a second class upper honours degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or other related disciplines.
• Position two: at least a Masters and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or other related disciplines.

• Strong analytical/mathematical ability.
• Experience or knowledge in the following fields will also be advantageous: PDEs (partial differential equations), queuing theory, etc.
• The successful candidate should be able to work independently and creatively and be comfortable reading and writing in English.
