Expression of interest for a postdoctoral position or 3 PhD scholarships

We are seeking expressions of interests for a postdoctoral position or 3 PhD scholarships to work on a marker-free motion capture project, which will commence in 2007. The project will be funded by an ARC Discovery Projects grant.

Interested applicants will work with A. Prof. Mohammed Bennamoun, Dr. Du Huynh, and Prof. Robyn Owens in the School of Computer Science and Software Engineering at The University of Western Australia. Required skills for the postdoctoral position are:

* strong knowledge in computer vision and mathematics

* ability to research and develop new computer vision algorithms

* strong programming knowledge in Matlab, C/C++

* ability to work independently and collaboratively

* good communication skills
