Post Graduate Scholarship Program 2007
CSIRO
CSIRO is Australia’s national science organisation with over 6,500
staff located across the country. It is one of the largest and most
diverse research organisations in the world, with its research
delivering solutions for agribusiness, the environment, information and
communication technologies, health, advanced materials and
manufacturing, minerals and energy, services, transport and
infrastructure. CSIRO is this year offering Postgraduate Scholarships under
our Corporate program and under the Flagship Collaboration Fund to
provide prospective students with the opportunity to undertake post
graduate research aligned with National Research Priorities in
partnership with CSIRO. Top-up scholarships are available to PhD
students who have gained (or expect to gain) an Australian Postgraduate
Award (APA) or equivalent. In certain circumstances, full scholarships
are also available. The Corporate Post Graduate Scholarship program is offering 20 scholarships in the following areas:

- 2006/1559 Effect of Deuteration upon protein adsorption
- 2006/1575 A taste for wine
- 2006/1568 Single-Molecule conduction
- 2006/1576 MicroRNAs in plant stress
- 2006/1555 High throughput corrosion studies
- 2006/1577 RNA silencing in plant disease
- 2006/1584 Transport of proteins in Mesophase Materials
- 2006/1574 Environmental evaluation and decision support
- 2006/1567 Gravitational wave detection using pulsars
- 2006/1579 Secure grids from multi-agent systems
