Job Description
We are looking for a Research Associate/Research Assistant/Project
Officer to work on an InfoComm cluster funded project, entitled,
"Pervasive Network Communication Module for Ubiquitous Broadband
Wireless Access". The work will be carried out at the Centre for
Multimedia and Network Technology (CeMNet) of Nanyang Technological
University, Singapore.

The candidate will join our research team and the main scope of work is
to develop the software for a next generation mobile router to support
seamless mobility which is independent of the underlying access
technology.

The candidate will have the opportunity to further his/her study leading
to a Master in Engineering (MEng) or a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
degree. Note that the prevailing eligibility criteria for the different
degrees will apply.

Requirements

A Bachelor degree (Honours) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science,
Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or related-field.

Knowledge of Networking system in Linux is certainly a great advantage
as the job will entail the building of Linux Kernel Modules and Device
Driver Programming.

Good written and oral communication skills.

Knowledge of networking technologies such as Mobile IPv6, Ad hoc Routing
Protocols, Network Mobility will certainly be helpful.

Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.

Term of Appointment

The appointment can commence anytime and will be initially for one year,
with possibility for extension.
