We have available a Ph.D. position in the area
of thin film transistors (TFTs). The research of the Ph.D. is directed
to deposition of SiO2 and fabrication of 3D-ICs. He/she uses a new
plasma method to deposit a thin SiO2 film as a gate insulator in the
TFTs. The Ph.D. will develop a process, which realizes the stacking of
the TFTs. The results will be relevant for an application to
three-dimensional integration of microelectronic circuits.
