Senior Research Assistant/Research Officer

Applicants are invited for the position of Fixed term Research Assistant in the Department of Computer Science, Reference M2176
The post holder will be expected to conduct research within the EPSRC funded research project Abstract Measures of Low-Level Computational Complexity (a description of the project can be found under
http://www.cs.swan.ac.uk/~csarnold/amllcc/.)
The
position requires a higher degree in Computer Science or a closely
related discipline, the potential to undertake autonomous research in
mathematical and computational logic, and the ability and willingness
to undertake administrative duties related to the project. Ideally
candidates will possess a PhD in mathematical or computational logic,
and has some knowledge of bounded arithmetic and propositional proof
complexity. Candidates with a proven track record will be expected.
