Research Fellow: Semantic Web Services PDF Print E-mail

Knowledge Media Institute (KMi) – Creating the Next Generation Web KMi has an opening for a Research Fellow to undertake research in the area of coupling business process models to semantic web services – using semantic web and web services technology to support the management of processes within and between organisations. This work takes place within the context of our EU-funded Integrated Project SUPER (see http://super.semanticweb.org/). You should have experience in developing symbolic AI systems. Additionally knowledge of the Web Services Modelling Ontology (WSMO - see http://www.wsmo.org), our semantic web services platform IRS-III, our knowledge modelling language OCML (see http://kmi.open.ac.uk/projects/ocml), web services, Lisp and/or Java would also be useful.

Appointment as a Research Fellow requires a PhD or three years equivalent in quality of achievement.
