The Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering
would like to discuss PhD opportunities with engineering
and science related candidates. Funds are available to
support suitably qualified candidates (2.1 and 1st).
There are four research groups offering a diverse range of
projects in the following topics:
Biomedical Engineering
Manufacturing Processes, Technology & Modelling
Microengineering and Nanotechnology
Vehicle Technology
These research groups have excellent research facilities
and collaborate with research groups within the academic
sector, NHS, Industry and Commerce.
