RBC Royal Bank Scholarship for First Year Medical & Dental Students
You’re finally on the path to becoming a health care practitioner.
Make the road to success that much smoother by applying for a $5,000
scholarship to help with your education at a medical or dental school
in Canada.
Deadline for applications: September 30, 2009.
Target
Students from communities across Canada, who are beginning their
studies to become an accredited medical doctor or dentist, and who
demonstrate commitment to their community.
Eligibility:
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada
- Be accepted into the first year of a recognized medical or dental
program at a university in Canada for the 2009/2010 academic year
- Be a full-time student studying to become an accredited medical doctor or dentist
How to Apply:
Applying is easy. All you have to do is complete and submit an online application form.
The application itself is divided into three sections:
Contact & School Details
- Provide basic contact details, including your e-mail address, phone number, mailing address, etc.
- Provide information on your current undergraduate or graduate
school, as well as details on the medical or dental school you will be
attending.
Volunteering & Employment
- Provide information on your volunteer activities, as well as paid employment and unpaid internships, if applicable.
Vocation
- Detail your motivation for becoming a healthcare practitioner, as
well as provide your opinion on specific questions regarding Canada’s
healthcare system.
