Profile
The candidate is expected to have a master degree in construction management, business administration or a comparable subject. Experience gained from work in the construction industry is an advantage. Excellent analytical capabilities are a must. Furthermore, the candidate should be able to work in a multidisciplinary and dynamic work environment.

Divided over 5 faculties, we provide more than 50 Bachelor and Master programmes, varying from Applied Physics and Public Administration to Applied Communication Science and Biomedical Technology. The faculty of Engineering Technology has about 270 employees and 1500 students and consists of four departments: Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Sustainable Energy Technology. The Center for Transport Studies is part of the Civil Engineering department. The Center for Transport Studies is conducting cutting-edge research and providing educational training in the area of strategic planning, traffic management and advanced driver assistance.

We offer the possibility to work on an interesting PhD project for 4 years. Part-time arrangements are possible. Additionally, the University of Twente provides excellent facilities for professional and personal development. The gross salary will be € 2000,- per month (fulltime) in the first year and € 2558,- after 4 years.
