The Distributed and Ubiquitous Computing (DUS) Group at the Technische Universität (Technical University) Braunschweig has several vacancies for research assistant positions to work on ubiquitous computing / pervasive computing in the area of

Positions will become available ASAP. A good honors degree in Computer Science, Communciations Enineering, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is prerequisite, internationally visible research results are expected. Salary will be according to level TVÖ13 of the German public service pay scale (about Euro 35.000 - 45.000).

Positions are assigned to one of the National, European or International collaboration projects (EU/Chosen, Industry/ SmartWaggon, German/MoSe, Intl/KDDI, DFG/Context Prognosis) depending on the candidates research topics.
For Post Doc positions course work is optional, but the candidate is invited to establish own courses or can take part / take over existing courses. From PhD candidates, we support and expect to finish PhD work within 3-5 years.
