Applications are open for admissions and scholarships for various doctorate programmes at the University of Naples, Italy. About 30+ scholarships are reserved for international students (including the Pakistani students).

Requirements for Admission
Participation in the competitive examinations for admission to the above Research Doctorate Programs is open, without any restrictions in terms of age and nationality, to candidates who are in possession of one of the following degrees:
master of science degree according to the Italian new system ("laurea specialistica" or "laurea magistrale" awarded in the sense of Ministerial Decree 509/1999 and its successive modification and integrations);
university degree according to the Italian old system ("laurea"), where the legal course lasted at least four years;
an equivalent degree obtained from a foreign university.
Admission to Reserved Positions/Scholarships
Persons not resident in Italy and that have obtained abroad the degree required for the admission to the Research Doctorate Program, may apply for the reserved positions. The competitions will be based on both assessment of scientific/academic titles and oral examinations. The candidates must attach to the application form the following documents:
a certificate of the master of science degree issued by the university that awarded it with the final score and the academic curriculum stating the examinations taken by the candidate with the relative scores and a short description of their contents;
any further academic title and information that should be taken into account (a list of scientific publications, if any; grants that the candidate might have been awarded by Italian, foreign or international bodies to attend a Ph.D. Degree course or to carry out study and research activities, indicating the starting date, the length and the amount; attested attendance of post-graduate courses and post-graduate degrees; awards and other scientific/academic titles).

Scholarship
The annual amount of the grant is 13.638,47 Euro, including social welfare charges. The grant covers the
entire time duration of the doctorate program. The amount of the scholarship may be increased by 50%
for periods abroad.
