Netherlands: Ph.D.Fellowship, in Economics

The research will preferably be part of the
Research Program “Reform of Social Regulation”, which deals with the
design and effects of social protection programs. In consultation with
professors Kees Goudswaard and Koen Caminada, the successful candidate
may propose and design his or her own specific topic. The research will
have to result in a dissertation.
The teaching will focus on seminars, and supervising thesis’s and
essays. The fellowship does not require teaching experience, but a
teaching certificate has to be concluded during the first year of the
appointment.
Requirements
University Graduate The successful candidate:
has completed a masters in economics or a masters in another
program with a substantial number of courses in economics (with good
results);
has a proven interest in the proposed subject of economic aspects of social policies;
is available to teach in the courses offered by the Economics Department;
is a team player.
