The research project will address the complex melt flow conditions in the lower zone of a blast furnace, a topic of critical interest to industry.

Availability
This scholarship is offered once only to one person. Open for applications until August 31, 2008.

Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD30627 (minimum per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.

Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Chemical engineering, Materials engineering or Metallurgy.

Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 2a or equivalent. Only citizens of Australia or New Zealand or permanent residents can apply.
