UK: Postgraduate Research scholarhip - Multi topic

MPhil and PhD
programmes normally extend over two or three years respectively, and
are based almost entirely upon supervised research under the direction
of one or more members of academic staff. There is an effective system
in place for monitoring the progress of all postgraduate research
students, and candidates registered for the MPhil
in the first instance can, on the basis of the progress achieved over
their first year of supervised study and at the discretion of the
Institute, upgrade their scheme of work to PhD level. Topics for research degrees can be selected from any of the areas of research expertise within the Institute.

Environmental & Rural Sciences (IBERS) we are offering a number of
PhD Studentships:
Candidates need a First Class, good Upper Second Honours or Masters
Degree in a relevant science subject. Closing Date for applications is
