The PhD student works in a EU funded project
HAMAM on computer aided diagnosis of breast cancer within a
multi-modality framework.
Works within the research group Computer Aided Diagnosis in close
collaboration with the Clinical Research group on breast cancer and
many international partners
Requirements
University Graduate University degree in
physics, computer science, biomedical engineering/technology, or a
related field, and have computer programming skills.
Experience with image processing and machine learning and pattern recognition is a distinct advantage
Teamplayer
Communicative skills in English, speaking and writing

University Medical Centre Nijmegen Radiology
Magnetic resonance (MR) is the major modality
for non-invasive research of anatomy, physiology and metabolism in
humans and animals. The development and application of novel MR methods
for the diagnosis, disease prediction and treatment monitoring of human
cancers is a main research focus at our department. The radiology
department is one of the leading groups in MR of prostate cancers, with
many years of experience in this field.

Salary level 10A: maximal € 2572 gross per month
