In the diabetic heart, metabolism is
chronically altered. The applicant will study metabolism and vesicular
trafficking in cardiomyocytes from diabetic rodents, and verify changes
in trafficking-protein expression in heart tissue from diabetic
patients, to identify targets for metabolic therapy.
Requirements
University Graduate Degree in Molecular
Life Sciences/ Health Sciences/ Biology/ Medicine. Experienced with
rodent models, standard biochemical techniques, radio-isotopes and
Western blotting. Participation in international collaborations. We
welcome good team collaboration and communication skills.

Additional conditions of employment:
Your salary would be € 2.000,- gross per month in the first year up to
€ 2.558,- gross per month in the fourth year according to the
PhD-student salary.
