Grand Valley State University offers generous scholarships to qualified international applicants. Available to both undergraduate and graduate applicants, these scholarships were established to recognize the high level of academic achievement of students coming from throughout the world. Masters degree applicants who present exceptional academic preparation and performance may be considered for a graduate assistantship, if available from the academic department to which they are applying for admission.  Recipients of a Graduate Assistantship are not eligible for scholarships.

It is recommended that international applicants apply for admission and submit all required documentation by March 1 to be considered for a scholarship beginning with the Fall Semester.  The following scholarships are available only to admitted international students new to Grand Valley.  Full time enrollment and maintenance of your immigration status is required to renew the scholarship.  If a certain grade point average is required from Grand Valley State University at the end of each year to renew the scholarship, it is listed below.
