University College London ( UCL) offers approximately nine scholarships to self-financing applicants from any country outside the European Community for the BSc, MSci, BA, BEng, MEng undergraduate degrees in the following departments at UCL:

• Chemistry
• Civil and Environmental Engineering
• Geography (BA only)
• Mathematics
• Physics and Astronomy

The value of each scholarship is up to £5000 per year which is deducted from the tuition fees for the duration of the programme of study.

The scholarships are competitive and will be awarded to students of outstanding academic merit. Applicants should:

• Hold a conditional or unconditional offer of admission to a full-time programme of study at UCL which they have firmly accepted or which they intend to accept
• Be self-financing and liable to pay tuition fees at the rate for overseas students.

Please note that accepting UCL as an insurance offer does not satisfy the conditions relating to this scholarship. Application Procedure and Deadline

Selection Procedure
Selection normally takes place in late August after the publication of the A Level results. Candidates will be notified of the outcome of their scholarship applications by early September.
