Ireland: Post-doctoral Research Assistant in Model-Driven, Aspect-Oriented Development of Embedded.. PDF Print E-mail

Applications are invited for one post-doctoral research position, to undertake research and development of tools for model-driven, aspect-oriented development of embedded systems. The post is within the Distributed Systems Group of the Department of Computer Science at Trinity College Dublin. The successful candidate is expected to provide scientific leadership in defining and developing this research programme. The position is funded under a grant from Science Foundation Ireland as part of Lero: The Irish Software Engineering Research Centre.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related area or be close to completing one. Candidates with expertise in any of the following areas are particularly welcome:

  • Model-driven development
  • Aspect-oriented software development
  • Programming models for embedded software
  • Distributed real-time systems

This post is tenable immediately up to the end of 2008 at a salary commensurate with the successful candidate's qualifications and experience.
