UK: PhD Studentships at Open University in Department of Physical Sciences
Description: The Science Faculty invites applications for full-time studentships; projects are divided into different categories based on the disciplines and the range of backgrounds expected from applicants:
Physics / Astronomy / Planetary and Space Sciences / Cosmochemistry / Detector Technologies
We have a number of full-time quota studentships funded by the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) as well as other earmarked studentships funded by the University and industry.
The three-year research studentships provide a maintenance grant of £13,726 per year (2013 rate) and all academic fees are covered.
