UK: Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Behavioural Decision Making at University of Leeds

Description:You will contribute to research on an ESRC-sponsored project on improving public perceptions of and preparedness for heat waves in the UK. You will work as part of a team that includes Professor Wändi Bruine de Bruin (Leeds University Business School, Centre for Decision Research), Professor Suraje Dessai (University of Leeds School of Earth and Environment, Sustainability Research Institute), and collaborators at other institutions.
The project entails a national longitudinal survey-based experiment to test strategies for promoting public preparedness for heat waves. Among other things, you will be given responsibilities for survey design as well as data management and analysis.

Eligibility:You will hold a PhD in Decision Science, Environmental Social Science, or related disciplines such as Cognitive Psychology, Social Psychology, Behavioural Economics, or Marketing. You will also have experience in designing and conducting survey-based experiments in Qualtrics.

Salary:University Grade 7 (£30,424 – £36,298 p.a.)
