UK: Post-Doctoral Research Fellow for Business School at University College Dublin
Salary: €33,975 per annum
This project is part of a Work Package which focuses on creating and capturing economic value from firm level innovation and entrepreneurship in the Smart Economy. More specifically we will investigate how the innovation process impacts on value creation. The key output of this research will be to cast light on the processes by which firms can improve competitiveness by explicitly understanding how creating innovative business processes are linked to capturing financial value and improving organizational performance. There is a particular focus on processes with the potential to leverage the Smart Economy, such as new service design and development, supply chain management and outsourcing, and process improvement
This is an academic research role, where you will conduct a specified programme of research supported by research training and development under the supervision and direction of a Principal Investigator. The primary purpose of the role is to further develop your research skills and competences, including the processes of publication in peer-reviewed academic publications, the development of funding proposals, the mentorship of graduate students along with the opportunity to develop your skills in research led teaching.
