France: PhD candidate to Work on Linked Open Data at The University of Paris Descartes

The University of Paris Descartes is looking for a highly motivated PhD candidate to work on linked open data as part of a project.
The amount of information available on the Internet in the form of text in web pages, blogs, forums or social networks has made astronomical dimensions. By itself, Twitter generates 13 GB per day. At the same time, the web of data, increasingly called Web 3.0, is poised to transform the Internet into the largest database of open access, which will be accessible “open data” data from our administrations and countless traces of our passage on the internet, including communicating devices: smart phones, tablets … the challenge for retailers is how to exploit this avalanche of data not to be confiscated by the master distribution in the art of data mining. Actors insurance are made directly threatened by new entrants in their markets, such as retail and banking networks. Therefore, insurers will extend their relational databases with data from the semantic web and open data. The PhD candidate will work on semantic and inconsistency in open data.

Requirements : 
The l PhD candidate should have required a master degree in computer science and should possess good knowledge on logic , good knowledge in probabilistic database,    good knowledge in semantic.
