Salary: Grade 6 £26,264 – £29,541 / Grade 7 £32,267 – £36,298 per annum

Description: You will contribute to a project (funded by EPSRC in collaboration with NSF) working with (Drs Nikolaj Gadegaard in Engineering and Malcolm Kadodwala in Chemistry). Specifically, the job requires expert knowledge in both spectroscopy and advanced nanofabrication techniques, e.g. laser based spectroscopy such as second harmonic generation or surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy, electron beam lithography, nanoimprint lithography, flash imprint, reactive ion etching with application in the plasmonic nanostructures or metamaterials.

You will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project as opportunities allow.

Duration: This post has funding for 3 years.
