UK: PostDoc Research Fellow in Health Informatics at University of Warwick

Duration: Fixed Term Contract for 2 Years

Description: You will work alongside the newly-appointed Professor of e-Health Innovation in the Institute of Digital Healthcare to independently contribute to the research challenges of semantic interoperability and informatics challenges in the development of computer systems and infrastructure for clinical research and e-trials to support clinical research in primary and acute care.

Eligibility: You will be a highly experienced researcher with a specialist knowledge of NHS practices in relation to the clinical research process, including clinical data vocabulary, systems and structures for obtaining, storing and analysing data, governance and legislative framework for conducting studies (including Clinical Good Practice) and industrial standards (such as ones from CDISC). With excellent communication skills and proven collaboration practices, you will have an established track record of peer-journal and scientific publications and be an exponent of skill and knowledge development in yourself and others.You will have an honours degree (2.1 or above) and hold a PhD in computer science or other relevant area.

Note: In this role you will be required to travel throughout the UK and some international travel may also be required.
