USA: A Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Synaptic and Developmental Plasticity Group

Description: A postdoctoral fellowship position is available in the Synaptic and Developmental Plasticity Group directed by Serena M. Dudek. We seek a creative independent scientist with experience in neurobiology related to the understanding of synaptic plasticity or hippocampal function. Investigations will include in vivo recording, whole-cell patch recordings, and/or transgenic mouse development. For more information about our research, see Zhao, et al. J. Neurosci. 27:12025, 2007, and Simons, et al. Nat. Neurosci. 15:23, 2011.

Eligibility: Applicants must possess a Ph.D. degree in Neurobiology or a related field, superior communication skills in English, and a demonstrated record of accomplishment. Candidates must also have less than four years of prior postdoctoral experience.We have state-of-the-art facilities, core labs and funding for this research.
