Description: The Connected Health Sector is a growing worldwide economic segment. The Northern Ireland Connected Health Innovation Competence Centre (NI-CHIC) will aim to provide Northern Ireland with a world-class, industry led, organisation and facility, within which high-quality R&D, networking, Intellectual Property (IP) generation and brokering can be conducted on the applications of connected health at a scale that is industrially and clinically-relevant and compatible with the types of design, production and manufacturing scale which are undertaken by our industrial consortium partners.

This is a unique opportunity to work with the Connected Health industry to help drive the development and implementation of the NI-CHIC and to facilitate the identification of collaborative industry-led research that will upgrade the competitiveness of the sector and maximise the global opportunities presented.

The Centre will need to engage both local and international companies so as to deliver global opportunities.
