This ambitious research programme is in collaboration with Glasgow and Edinburgh Universities. You will join the Advanced Processor Technologies (APT) group within the School of Computer Science at Manchester, researching novel runtime systems, and software frameworks that enable novel applications to execute seamlessly on low-power heterogeneous many-core systems and clouds.

Eligibility: You will be qualified to MSc level (Research Assistant) or doctoral level (Research Associate), or in either case, have an equivalent level of technical / working experience in the areas of runtime systems for multi-core systems, computer architecture, programming accelerators (e.g. GPUs) and working with large scale clouds (or HPC systems).
