Description: This post is a jointly-funded position with the Institute of Particle Physics Phenomenology (IPPP) at Durham University and is available to support theoretical work in the field of elementary particle physics. Specific expertise in finite temperature field theory and the foundations of quantum field theory are particularly desirable. You should be able to work closely and collaborate with the theoretical particle physicists in the group and you should be prepared to carry out undergraduate teaching duties as requested by the Head of School.The post is available from 1 October 2013 for twelve months.
