USA: Postdoctoral Researcher Positions are in the Protein Processing Section at NIH

Description: Two postdoctoral researcher positions are available in the Protein Processing Section (PPS) of the Structural Biophysics Laboratory (SBL), Center for Cancer Research (CCR), National Cancer Institute (NCI), National Institutes of Health (NIH). The position is to study the structure and dynamics of protein complexes involved in ubiquitin signaling, protein degradation, or quality control. PPS areas of interest include post-translational protein modifications and signaling events.

Eligibility: Candidates with a background in the use of NMR spectroscopy for the study of protein structure or dynamics are particularly encouraged to apply for this position. Candidates with expertise in alternative biophysical approaches will also be considered.The position is located at the NCI-Frederick, MD campus. The candidate must have a Ph.D. in a related discipline. The position is not restricted to U.S. citizens.

Duration:The fellowship duration is 5 years based on performance and yearly evaluations.

Salary: The fellowship stipend starts from $49,400 per annum, and is determined based on years of relevant experience and qualifications.
