Position Summary:
The Department of Chemical and Nuclear Engineering seeks a motivated undergrad to work in Professor Blandford’s Thermal-hydraulics and Nuclear Safety Lab over the summer. The position will require 20-40 hours of work per week. The chosen candidate will help build thermal-fluids experiments under the guidance of Professor Blandford, graduate students, and postdocs in the lab. General tasks include CAD work, part fabrication, acquiring experimental data and working on experimental setups. The chosen candidate will acquire skill in experimental and academic research.

Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to applicants interested in attending graduate school or working for a lab and who are in search of research experience and letters of recommendation for graduate school or career opportunities following graduation. Previous hands-on experience working in a laboratory is a plus but not a requirement.
