Duration: Fixed term contract until 31 October 2015

Description:You will work within the High –Value Manufacturing Catapult Centre at WMG and will be part of a research team responsible for developing Micro CT scanning as a technique to support the research and development activities within the Product Evaluation Technology Research Group. You will be working with industry and academic partners to develop novel analysis methods and data processing techniques from optimised Micro CT scans.

Eligibilty: You will have a degree in Engineering, Physics or Maths and will be working towards a PhD or Masters in a relevant field. Ideally, you will have an understanding of CT scanning, point cloud and mesh data and be proficient in IT, in particular data processing, CAD and reverse engineering software packages. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
