The Intelligent Systems Research Laboratory is seeking to appoint a Research Fellow with strong software engineering capability and a research interest in Software Engineering in C++/Java, particularly Machine Learning, Sensor Fusion, Situation Assessment, Autonomous Systems, Semantic Modelling, and Pervasive-Cooperative Ambient Intelligence.

Eligibility:
Some knowledge of any of the following additional areas will be an advantage:

  • Semantic Workflow Integration, AI Planning, AI Search
  • Image and Speech Understanding
  • Knowledge of Internet-enabled and Mobile Communications Technologies
  • Agent Technologies
  • Cloud Services
  • 3D Immersive Media

Candidates are invited to apply with a minimum of BSc (Hons), or, preferably MSc/PhD in Computer Science/ Engineering or Mathematics, experience in C++/Java programming and system integration.
