Lecturer: £33230 – £45941 Senior Lecturer: £47314 – £53233

Description:
We were named UK University of the Year at the Times Higher Education awards because we are “bold, imaginative and innovative”.  The award reflects our status as a leading international technological university and “a place of useful learning”, our close links with business and industry and our commitment to making a difference to our students, our community and to society worldwide.Through the Strathclyde Chancellor’s Fellowship we are seeking to appoint up to 50 exceptional early career academics in strategically important research areas.  Normally appointed at Lecturer level, the Fellowship will last for 5 years during which you will be supported to establish your career as a research leader and achieve rapid career progression.  Exceptionally, where a candidate has an established track record in research leadership, appointments may be made at Senior Lecturer level.

Eligibility:
You will hold a PhD, have postdoctoral research experience and an emerging high quality publication track record.  Your research interests should normally align with the identified strategic priority areas of the University.
