Applications are invited for Ph.D. and M.Sc. studentships in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Saskatchewan. Student should have a strong background in physical or theoretical chemistry and be interested in developing theory and computer simulation techniques to study soft condensed matter systems. Our research group has special interests in confined fluids, nucleation, jamming and packing problems and the statistical mechanics of nanoscale systems. Students will have access to state-of-the-art high performance computing facilities and will work in an interdisciplinary environment, interacting with groups from physics, engineering and mathematics. Scholarships and Teaching Assistantships available.

Deadline for students starting in September 2007 is May 1st.
